Googel and Googol are the most misspelled word in the net when searching for the Google. Even me, sometime I use the Googel search for navigation purposes to find the big G. I am too lazy to type the whole URL.
Here’s a fact. When you type googel.com in your URL field, it will redirect you to google.com. the domain googel is owned by the big G.
