1500 Philippine Peso Gold Commemorative Coin – Pope John Paul II
by Eymard | January 19, 2012 | In Philippine Money
Here is a picture from BSP of the 1500 Philippine Peso Gold Commemorative Coin. It had the print of Pope John Paul II. I think, it was minted to honor Pope John Paul II when he visited the Philippines in January 1995.
For added information, on X World Youth Day, Pope John Paul II offered a mass in Luneta Park, Manila, Philippines. It was considered the largest single gathering in Christian History.
